George S. Bailey quote: “Aflatoxin initiates some kinds of cancer, as does tobacco smoke and probably cooked meat mutagens. So chlorophyllin is interesting because it can block the action of compounds that we know start cancer.” Read more…

Extract: All green plants also contain chlorophyll, the light-collecting molecule. Chlorophyll and its derivatives are very effective at binding polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (carcinogens largely from incomplete combustion of fuels), heterocyclic amines (generated when grilling foods), aflatoxin (a toxin from molds in foods which causes liver cancer), and other hydrophobic molecules.
This study examines the therapeutic potential of wheatgrass juice on various chronic diseases.

Increases Oxygen to Cells
Chlorophyll is often referred to as “The blood of plant life” and has almost the same chemical structure as haemoglobin. This study showed that chlorophyll increases haemoglobin in cancer patients (haemoglobin transfers oxygen to our cells). http://ascopubs.org/doi/abs/10.1200/jco.2006.24.18_suppl.8634
